International Fellowship

In 2011, when Dr Kapur was President of the British Neuropsychological Society, he set up the Neuropsychology International Fellowship scheme (NIF) to enable staff early in their career to come from developing countries, such as Africa and India, to the UK to learn and train in Neuropsychology so that they could apply this to healthcare in their own country. So far, 24 fellowships have been awarded, and the countries which have benefited include –

Dr Kapur has personally funded and supported a mental health charity in Masaka, Uganda as evidenced by this report.
He has also personally funded and set up a COVID rehab centre in India, www.indiacovidrehab.org
