My name is Professor Narinder Kapur – I am a Consultant Neuropsychologist and honorary Professor of Neuropsychology. I have around 35 years’ experience working in the National Health Service, most of that time as Head of Neuropsychology in a major neurosciences centre. I have authored or edited four books in the area of Neuropsychology, including one on memory disorders, and I am past-President of the British Neuropsychological Society. I set up the first Memory Aids Clinic in the country, at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, and this was a finalist in the 2005 Medical Future’s Competition.
I have set up the London Memory Clinic at Clementine Churchill Hospital, Harrow, Middlesex. This clinic is easily accessible by tube, rail, bus and car.
As part of the service offered by the London Memory Clinic, I carry out both memory assessment for diagnostic purposes and also carry out memory rehabilitation. Click on any of the links at the side or below to find out more information about me or about my clinical practice.
The London Memory Clinic also incorporates the London Memory Aids Resource Centre, one of the first of its kind in the world, where the latest memory aids are available for use in helping patients with everyday memory difficulties following a brain illness or brain injury.
